Thanks Alan. So it looks like 5.0 didn't support Intel iwlwifi - not
added yet.

and 5.1 has Intel iwlwifi added but the ucode api isn't defined yet.
Maybe drivers in 5.1 just use the original firmwares without revision
numbers. Actually the 3945 chipset was still using the old ipw driver
back then, the 5000 series wasn't out yet, and I'm not sure if 4965 was
supported in 5.1 or not.
