[elrepo-devel] Announcement: Updated kmod-w83627ehf testing release

Announcing the release of an updated kmod-w83627 package in the elrepo 
testing repository:

This release provides an updated w83627ehf driver that is *only* kABI 
compatible with the el5.5 series kernel (kernel-2.6.18-194.el5) upwards. 
Users of older kernels should use kmod-w83627ehf version 0.0-3 or the 
native kernel provided driver.

It is built to depend upon the specific ABI provided by a range of 
releases of the same variant of the Linux kernel and not on any one 
specific build.

NOTE: Due to the appearance of a bug in el5.5, *updating* of kmod 
packages is broken with el5.5. When updating, *reinstalling* the package 
after the initial update will fix the issue, so users are advised to:

yum update kmod-w83627ehf
yum reinstall kmod-w83627ehf
