I am not sure if you posted your initial message to the correct
mailing list. This is the ELRepo-devel list -- for the development of
the ELRepo Project -- yet your subject header
"kernel-2.6.32-131.0.15.el6.centos.ayplus.i686.rpm" is referring to a
particular CentOS-Plus kernel that was developed for the yet to be
released CentOS 6 product!

Steve initially emailed me to let me know that he was going to test
the .ayplus kernel (test version for centosplus kernel) for 6.0.
Because that did not work for his hardware,he then turned to kernel-ml
and, at the same time, moved the conversation to the elrepo-devel
mailing list.
In short, both kernels are for testing purpose for him and therefore
no clear boundary. :-D

Hi,

I am just trying to get a kernel for el6 that will run on the 100+
Via Eden CentaurHauls systems we are currently
running with FreeBSD. The stock kernel + the current ayplus kernel
both hang after some indeterinant time, (hours to days).
I have tried all of Ingo Molnar tips for hanging kernels (nmi
watchdog, etc) to no avail, no indication of what caused the the
hang.
I have just managed to build a 2.6.35.13 kernel using the above
referenced link. I have yet to test it.
Anyway that is what this post is about.
