Both are GPL, so we're alright there.

With regard to Lee's patch for dahdi, this would have to be thought
through -- as it would essentially fork the code? Comments, please.

Having had a very brief look at the dahdi SRPM file, it does seem
possible to convert it to a kernel independent kABI tracking kmod
package. It is "on the list" for action, when the time can be found .
