I was not sure of your level of experience, so please accept my
apologies for dropping you "into the deep end". Essentially, what
needs to be done here is to back-port the ch341.c code from the 2.6.30
mainline kernel (from where I have obtained it) to the
2.6.18-x.y.z.el5 Enterprise Linux 5 kernel. It will require a certain
degree of knowledge of the "C" language and the Linux kernel.

Currently we, at ELRepo, do not have the time available to do all that
we would like and, as a consequence, would appreciate the assistance
of contributors with the above described knowledge who would be
willing to assist in cases such as this.

To all subscribers to this list: Is there anyone who would be willing
to assist Lee with the above task?
