[elrepo] Announcement: EL5 Updated kmod-e1000e Release [Version 1.2.20_NAPI]

Announcing the release of updated kmod-e1000e packages in the EL5
elrepo repository:

http://elrepo.org/tiki/kmod-e1000e

This package provides an updated e1000e driver, version 1.2.20_NAPI,
and is kABI compatible with all kernels from 5.0 (kernel-2.6.18-8.el5)
upwards.

It is built to depend upon the specific ABI provided by a range of
releases of the same variant of the Linux kernel and not on any one
specific build.

You may update your system by:

yum --disablerepo=\* --enablerepo=elrepo update kmod-e1000e

Once the package has been updated, remember to unload the older driver
version from the kernel:

/sbin/ifdown ethN
/sbin/modprobe -r e1000e
/sbin/ifup ethN
