That's what I wanted to know. :-)

As (three kernels installed) > (only one kernel installed) I'll say
that is fine. (No one should ever have just one installed kernel.)
I really would not like to comment about broken symlinks for other
kmod packages in relation to older, removed, kernels. In general, if
everything is working I will go as far as saying that it is "not bad"
-- but then again, to a perfectionist, it is "not good". Assuming
those other packages do not originate from ELRepo, things seem to be
as I would expect.

I know of no way to achieve that requirement. Essentially you will
need to see the grub menu.
As one who will occasionally reboot a system located in southern
California, USA, from northern Suffolk, UK, I appreciate the
situation. Is there anyone trustworthy who could stand by the physical
system whilst you perform the test?
