Great. I'll go ahead and build the package as I sketched out, earlier.
Please look out for the announcement and then we'll look to you for
testing. If you do find any issue, please use the ELRepo bug tracker
[1] -- as it keeps everything documented in one place and the issue
will be "automagically" assigned to me (as my alter-ego, burakkucat).
That way I will be constantly "haunted" until the issue is resolved.

I guess the other thing will be the user-land tools. As a kernel-space
person, I seem to recall attempting to put that side onto Akemi's
"ToDo" list. Perhaps I'd better check to see if it has fallen off into
a passing black hole and, if so, do something about it myself. (Big
sigh. (For Akemi's benefit.) :-) ).
