[elrepo] Announcement: EL5 Updated kmod-igb packages [2.4.8-1] available

Announcing the release of updated kmod-igb packages in the elrepo repository:

http://elrepo.org/tiki/kmod-igb

This package provides an updated igb driver, version 2.4.8-1 and is
kABI compatible with all kernels from 5.0 (kernel-2.6.18-8.el5)
upwards.

It is built to depend upon the specific ABI provided by a range of
releases of the same variant of the Linux kernel and not on any one
specific build.

You may update your system by:

yum --disablerepo=\* --enablerepo=elrepo update kmod-igb

Please remember to stop the interface(s) that are using the older
driver (/sbin/ifdown ethN), unload the older module from the kernel
(/sbin/modprobe -r igb) and then restart the interface(s) (/sbin/ifup
ethN).
