Hi Richard,
Actually there is no problem at either end. I didn't make an
announcement as it is not a update to the code within the package but
just an update of the packaging method to bring it into line with the
latest "best standard" of the ELRepo Project.
If you have a look at the package change log, you will see --

So on July 10 2010 there was a code version update from 1.0.0.11 to
1.0.1.9 but on Oct 26 2010 only the package release was changed, from
-1 to -2 -- the code remaining the same as that released on July 10.
As has always been the case, if in doubt -- ask. And so, if I may use
an expression from your county, "No worries". :-)

P.s. We are gradually working through all the packages we provide and
performing an update on the packaging. Some will be done in the course
of the natural code version update -- examples: r8168 NIC driver,
nVidia graphics driver -- whilst others will be done without a code
version update -- examples: the three atl* NIC drivers, reiserfs
support.
