[elrepo] aacraid driver request for el5 (centos5.6) for 6805 controller

Hello,

I recently Installed the Adaptec Raid 6805 controller on a Supermicro A+ 2022G-URF system. Centos does not recognize this controller, even when using the drivers supplied bij Adaptec. Using lspci I get "04:00.0 RAID bus controller: Adaptec Device 028b (rev 01)". I tried a Windows server R2 SP1 installation with the same hardware setup and the Adaptec controller was recognized after loading the driver disk. An older Adaptec raid 3405 also works fine on the same hardware.

Apparently de current el5 driver doesn't work. Can an updated driver be added to the elrepo? Does somebody have a working setup using a Adapec 6805 or similar controller?
