[elrepo] Software modem or Winmodem drivers

I had a requirement to use Hylafax with internal "software modems", 
"winmodems" or possibly USB modems.
In the past - I have drawn a blank looking for suitable linux drivers.
I have browsed the elrepo list - and cannot find any obvious drivers for 
any of the PCI or USB modems.
Does anyone know of any source of suitable modem drivers? Or maybe there 
is something in the elrepo list which I do not recognise?
