[elrepo] Announcement: EL6 Updated kmod-sk98lin release [Version 10.87.3.3-2]

Announcing the release of the updated kmod-sk98lin packages into the
EL6 elrepo repository:

http://elrepo.org/tiki/kmod-sk98lin

This package provides an updated sk98lin driver, version 10.87.3.3-1,
which resolves bug id 130 (http://elrepo.org/bugs/view.php?id=130) and
is kABI compatible with all kernels from 6.0 (kernel-2.6.32-71.el5)
upwards.

It is built to depend upon the specific ABI provided by a range of
releases of the same variant of the Linux kernel and not on any one
specific build.

The following files are currently syncing to the mirrors:

x86
kmod-sk98lin-10.87.3.3-2.el6.elrepo.i686.rpm

x86_64
kmod-sk98lin-10.87.3.3-2.el6.elrepo.x86_64.rpm

src
sk98lin-kmod-10.87.3.3-2.el6.elrepo.src.rpm

You may update your system by:

yum --enablerepo elrepo update kmod-sk98lin

Once the package has been updated, remember to unload the old driver
before loading the new version into the kernel:

/sbin/ifdown ethN
/sbin/modprobe -r sk98lin
/sbin/modprobe sk98lin
/sbin/ifup ethN
