[elrepo] Announcement: EL6 kmod-sata_via driver deprecated for RHEL6.1

Announcing the release of an updated kmod-sata_via package in the EL6 
elrepo repository that deprecates the elrepo kmod-sata_via driver for 
RHEL6.1 and above.

The kmod-sata_via package provides an updated sata_via driver that fixes 
a bug with VIA vt6420/vt6421 controllers and some hard disks. For 
example, see:

The relevant patches have since been backported into the RHEL-6.1 kernel 
driver.

This updated release deprecates the elrepo driver in favour of the RHEL 
kernel driver in RHEL-6.1 and above. The elrepo driver continues to 
function on 6.0 series kernels.

Users of this package should update their system by:

yum --enablerepo=elrepo update kmod-sata_via
