Surprisingly no response after 8 days !
If you have tried this version of kernel-ml, you would have seen
"kernel panic" upon booting. :-( This is because the stanza for
kernel-ml in grub.conf is missing the initrd line. Just add:
initrd /initramfs-2.6.39-4.rc6.1.el6.elrepo.x86_64.img
and it will now boot.
