Hi -- I'm sorry, that was a mistake in my original email.  I'm on SL 
6.2, with all of the latest patches.

The problem actually only started in SL 6.2 in the latest kernels.

I meant to say in my original email "SL 6" -- I don't know why I added 
the .0
