Hi,

I upgraded one of my Centos 6.5 machines to 6.5 using yum. After the upgrade
I am getting random lockups of the X display. The machine is still running,
I can ssh to it and do whatever I need to do including running things like
xeyes over an Xforwarding session but the display is locked.

I have the following elrepo packages installed:
(tigger pts14) # rpm -qa | grep elrepo
elrepo-release-6-5.el6.elrepo.noarch
nvidia-x11-drv-331.20-1.el6.elrepo.x86_64
kmod-nvidia-331.20-1.el6.elrepo.x86_64

(tigger pts15) # nvidia-debugdump --list
Listing all GPUs.
Found 1 NVIDIA devices
         Device ID: 0
Device name: GeForce GT 220 (*PrimaryCard)
         GPU internal ID: GPU-e9abcfb0-e3fe-143c-00aa-4b69a4453c20

I am wondering if there is a problem with the nvidia drivers and the upgraded
Xorg packages?

In looking at /var/log/messages, dmesg and the Xorg log I do not see anything
that gives me a hint as to what is happening.

The problem seems to be triggered by mouse movement. When I am using the
imouse in either Firefox or an rdp session, that is when the lockup occurs.
When working from a command line everything appears to operate normally.

I am wondering how I can debug this to try to tell what package is causing
this.

If someone is interested, I put the output of nvidia-bug-report.sh at
http://tntechs.com/nvidia-debug/nvidia-bug-report.log.gz

Regards,
