Dear All,

for reasons I don't quite remember, I'm using a package from

  http://www.touslesdrivers.com/index.php?v_page=23&v_code=34178&v_langue=en

to make an alx kernel module for Centos6.x machines, in order to get
Atheros AR8161 wireless cards to work.

I am now wondering if Elrepo package kmod-alx would work in Centos6.4?

I see a recent message here :

http://elrepo.org/bugs/print_all_bug_page_word.php?search=&sort=&dir=DESC&type_page=html&export=-1&show_flag=0

concerning a new alx-package.

I installed kmod-alx but get this EM :

[root at localhost src]# modprobe alx
FATAL: Error inserting alx (/lib/modules/2.6.32-358.0.1.el6.x86_64/weak-updates/alx/alx.ko): Invalid module format

My device details :

03:00.0 0200: 1969:1091 (rev 10)
	Subsystem: 1043:14c7
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 10
	Memory at f7c00000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=256K]
	I/O ports at e000 [size=128]
Capabilities: [40] Power Management version 3
Capabilities: [58] Express Endpoint, MSI 00
	Capabilities: [c0] MSI: Enable- Count=1/16 Maskable+ 64bit+
	Capabilities: [d8] MSI-X: Enable- Count=16 Masked-
	Capabilities: [100] Advanced Error Reporting
Capabilities: [180] Device Serial Number ff-98-e6-b2-50-46-5d-ff
	Kernel modules: alx

When I install kmod-alx or when I use the old method for installing alx, the machine does not booth in the new Centos6.4 kernel.

Can anyone offer some advise on this?

Greetings, J.
