Interesting - if you looked at the output of my yum command you would have seen:
# yum --disablerepo=\* --enablerepo=elrepo\* list all|grep kernel
  * elrepo-kernel: repos.mia.lax-noc.com
dracut-kernel.noarch   004-256.el6_2.1 @anaconda-CentOS-201112130233.i386/6.2
kernel.i686 2.6.32-279.19.1.el6.centos.plus
