for games, I'm not sure that there really is a need?
My son [1] plays Dota2 on our centos 6 box at home. Using the regular C6
kernel (kernel-2.6.32-431.29.2.el6.x86_64), the CPU is an oldish intel
core 2 duo E8400 from 2008, and everything runs smooth.
This is just one datapoint, I haven't tried other games in linux and
maybe dota2 is an exception. But maybe make sure there's a real problem
before fixing it?
