Technically it should be possible to have two  or more different video cards  by stuffing for instance PCIe cards in a system  which has an integrated graphics controller. I wished more than once to output completely unrelated video content to multiple monitors using a single ordinary PC (
even by using multilple independent Xorg instances). Imagine a guard playing solitaire on one display while on N other monitors we print banners with NASDAQ values. Or the video streams from several video surveillance cameras. Or icinga stats.

I have no idea though if the kernel (and Xorg !)  modules for, say kmod-nvidia and kmod-nvidua-346xx , are compatible. So far I never had enough time and incentive to implement the scenario above. And nowadays ARM based boards are so cheap that - at least for the company I work for - the single PC-multiple of the shelf cheap cards solution is not viable any more
