Just FYI, I did go ahead and download your new release, and saw that thunderbolt support was enabled. Unfortunately, as we feared, it didn't work on my non-apple hardware. Interesting note on this post: https://plus.google.com/+gregkroahhartman/posts/bzx6EJnwMMf, one of the last comments is asking if the falcon ridge controller is supported, to which the response is yes. Which then leads me back to what you were saying, about perhaps it only being for Apple devices. While thunderbolt isn't apple, maybe they do something different that makes this only work on their hardware.

I just wish I could get a straight answer as to the state of support :-)
