Have you looked at the 3.18 kernel in the Xen4CentOS repo?

The current version there is 3.18.17-13.el6.x86_64, built for
CentOS 6, and is straightforward to install.
Downside is that the 3.18 LTS kernel branch has a projected
EOL of Jan, 2017.
