You can find a test package (newer than what's in elrepo's testing but older than what ATI currently ships) on my personal  website, wdl.lug.ro/fglrx
I could update to the new ATI release pretty soon but my problem is that I am afraid that the incompatibility between atidaemon and systemd will still be there. And I have no system to experiment with, our ecosystem is EL6.
