[elrepo] how to get the amd driver working on RHEL 7 ?

I tried it the "same way as for RHEL 6", that is download the .zip from
AMD, ....run --buildpkg ... , than install the resulting rpm (worked for
RHEL 6.7).

But no way with RHEL 7.2, the built rpm has "error: Failed
dependencies:" !.

I also tried the "Install Driver 15.201.2401 on X.Org 6.9 or later
64-bit" option, but at reboot, blank screen; X server doesn't work.

Finally, I found the elrepo site, and installed kmod-fglrx.x86_64 and
fglrx-x11-drv.x86_64 from elrepo-testing.
The rpms are "better", no "Failed dependencies", but after installation
and reboot, same as with amd's rpm, X server doesn't work.

What can I do ?, is there a "step-by-step" procedure to debug this
issue ?.
