[elrepo] kmod-ath10k firmware issues (?) with CentOS 7

OK, then I am at a complete loss. I have the files available in the right place on the drive, but the driver says it can't find the files, and is looking for additional files that don't seem to be available. I don't know how to proceed.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sean

 Looks
 good to me.

 wiki ( https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/ath10k/firmware
) says for QCA6174, kernel version 4.0 is required (with
the caveat that a newer ath10k drive can be used on an older
kernel with backports project). How do I know what Kernel
version I have (this may sound like stupid question, but I
am new to linux) and would this cause the drive to not find
 the firmware?

The driver is backported from kernel-4.1, so
 consider it as that. You
 can ignore the
 caveat about the backports project.
