no, that is all. install it, reboot, test. You might of course need to 
fiddle with the files' names but I suspect that the new firmware is 
"paired" with the needs of the new kernels ( hence the lack of 
compatibility with the existing drivers
But, of course, I might be wrong, it's pure speculation here.
