[elrepo] General questions about kernel config and xorg-server

Hi all

I'll cut to the chase.

1. Do you configure the kernels yourselves or do you use for example,
Fedora .config as a beginning? Would Fedora kernel srpms work with the
current kABIs? How "vanilla" is the kernel?

2. Is incorporating newer versions of xorg-server and mesa in the system
possible? If possible, is it wise to do so? I wonder because recent drivers
like amdgpu may benefit from a newer xorg version perhaps?
