right.  I am 100% sure that EL5/6 will NEVER have a wayland set of 
packages shipped by RH.  EL5 is almost dead and EL6 is also on the verge 
of being unsupported ( in terms of new "stuff" )

Frankly I do not think we should even care of those 2 distros. They are 
on their way out and ( assuming it's possible ) trying to add wayland 
support is more work than worth.
