I don't think anyone will hit this unless they are using an updated
xfsprogs or have explicitly enabled crc. The shipped xfsprogs is 3.2.2
which does not enable crc checking on file systems by default. E.g.:

# xfs_info /
meta-data=/dev/sda7              isize=256    agcount=4, agsize=4874176 blks
          =                       sectsz=512   attr=2, projid32bit=1
          =                       crc=0        finobt=0
data     =                       bsize=4096   blocks=19496704, imaxpct=25
          =                       sunit=0      swidth=0 blks
naming   =version 2              bsize=4096   ascii-ci=0 ftype=0
log      =internal               bsize=4096   blocks=9519, version=2
          =                       sectsz=512   sunit=0 blks, lazy-count=1
realtime =none                   extsz=4096   blocks=0, rtextents=0

Notice the crc=0.

If someone has enabled crc=1, then yes I imagine they could run into this.
