[elrepo] Nvidia 8400 GS drivers

Thanks for elrepo. This is new to me and am having issues getting this 
elrepo configured for my CentOS6. I started by importing the key and 
then installing ELRepo for CentOS6. I'm not sure what installed and is 
this a GUI interface? Do I need to reboot before I see this? Also it 
says to please install yum-plugin-fastestmirror. How do you do this and 
where do you get the file to install? I found one fastest in my 
Add/Remove Software but I get an error saying "Trying to remove "yum", 
which is protected so it fails. I'm looking for video drivers for Nvidia 
8400 GS. I found a nvidia-detect on the ElRepo site and am wondering how 
and where you get this command or the package to install so you can run 
this utility.
