Hi David,
I believe that we had similar configuration options enabled in our
kernel-lt package set for EL5 but did not carry-over those
configuration options into the kernel-{lt|ml} package sets for
EL{6|7}.
If you would please open an RFE (against kernel-lt for EL6) in our bug
tracker [1] then I will take it from there (I'll be less likely to
forget) and ensure that those configuration changes are queued for the
next kernel-{lt|ml} package set builds.
