Further to Alan's investigations, I have backported the niu driver for you:

kmod-niu-1.1-1.el7_4.elrepo.x86_64.rpm
niu-kmod-1.1-1.el7_4.elrepo.src.rpm

Packages are uploading to our mirrors now and should be available from 
the testing repository shortly.

Please would you have your user test and report back if they work as 
expected, at which point I will promote to our main repository.

yum --enablerepo=elrepo-testing install kmod-niu
