Hi everyone,

I am working on a new machine which has 2x Nvidia Quattro P-2000 as GPUs.

I just got finished doing a fresh minimal install of CentOS 7, and am now trying to install the NVIDIA drivers from elrepo.

I followed the instructions to get elrepo added: http://elrepo.org/tiki/tiki-index.php

I then installed kmod-nvidia, nvidia-detect, nvidia-x11-drv-libs.i686.

After a restart nvidia-smi returns:
"NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running"

`lsmod | grep -i nvidia`
Returns nothing

`sudo modprobe nvidia`
"modprobe: ERROR: could not insert `nvidia`: Required key not available

`yum list installed | grep -i nvidia`
"""
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, nvidia
kmod-nvidia.x86_64 418.56-1.el7_6.elrepo @elrepo
nvidia-detect.x86_64 418.43-1.el7.elrepo @elrepo
nvidia-x11-drv.x86_64 418.56-1.el7_6.elrepo @elrepo
nvidia-x11-drv-libs.x86_64 418.56-1.el7_6.elrepo @elrepo
yum-plugin-nvidia.noarch 1.0.2-1.el7.elrepo @elrepo
"""

It looks to me like I have all the right packages installed, yet, the NVIDIA driver is not available. . .

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Mark.
