Hi,
I want to setup live patching of the kernel. From my reading it seems that livepatch is used by the kernel and ubuntu and kpatch by Centos and Redhat.
Would I still use kpatch to path the elrepo kernels on Centos 7 or would I need to use livepatch methods as I'm running elrepo kernels?
In order for this to work you would first need to find or create the patch files. I do know that the CentOS distro kernels do not have any patch files available and nor are there any plans that I know of to do so. I would strongly suspect that the ELRepo kernels are in the same boat.
At present, the only kpatch files that I know of are built by Red Hat for RHEL kernels.
