Hi,

I'm not sure I'm going to be able to help with this. What type of 
hardware certification tests are you running with RHEL8 on such old 
hardware? It looks like you are trying to install RHEL8 on an old IBM 
4800-743 POS terminal?

There is an OpenChrome VIA Xorg driver here:

but it doesn't look like it's been touched for many years.

What driver are you currently using?
