Hi Rich,

Thank you for your email.

We can't just recompile the el6 package for el8, but we have templates 
available for creating new packages here:

https://github.com/elrepo/templates/tree/master/el8

I'm happy make a kmod-jme package for el8 for you to test and post back 
here once available, hopefully later today.
