It would be easier if you add the output of lspci. The same card is 
often sold under a lot of different name.

In RHEL7/Centos7 most of the Megasas/LSI/broadcom/Avago are still 
supported. Only with RHEL8/Centos8 was the support removed.

Please post the pci name and the PCI-ID to make it easier to help you.

Maybe you don't need the megaraid_sas, but could us mpt3sas or mpt2sas 
instead. This are available in RHEL7/Centos7.
