    The path is not wrong. ElRepo's kmods take advantage of the weak
    updates mechanism provided by RHEL .The package was built against
    RHEL 7.1 hence it's placed in the correct location for the kernels
    from that minor RHEL release. Normally you should see  a symlink
    like this:<br>

    No. It should only prevent Xorg from working<br>
    OTOH if the source code from AMD is flaky and does not like the new
    kernel.... all I could do is to try to build against the new kernel
    and hope for the best. But from the partial stack trace you provided
    I see no reference to the fglrx module.<br>

                I'll make sure to get that information to you here
                shortly. I had a separate issue on my machine with a
                video card actually failing, however the error still
                shows up so I don't believe it's related. <br>
