    We have someone in using ClearOS7 (CentOS7 derivative) who is having

    problems with the e1000 driver built into the kernel (7.3.21-k8-NAPI

    on 3.10.0-327.10.1.v7.x86_64). The latest Intel driver is 8.0.35. In

    its change log on sourceforge it says "* Fix driver build issue

    under 3.x.x kernels", however I cannot get it to build, and in any

    case it will need recompiling for every kernel update. I suspect the

    driver is now unmaintained as it has not been updated since

    11/10/2011.<br>

    Is there any chance that one of you fine geniuses can create an el7

    compatible kmod version?<br>
