<p>I just realized I wasn't totally correct about radeon having only
opensource drivers. I just read there are opensource drivers and
propiertary drivers, opensource ones I would think should be in
most repos and the propiertary from the amd site. But that still
leaves my question and doesn't make it easier to choose.<br>

<p>I use it to run test/lab machines with kvm, some games older
than 2010 via wine, and some newer games via steam which have
Linux ports, and on occasion</p>
I watch a movie or tv serie on it.<br>
