Since Alan just announced kernel-lt-4.4.152, why don't you give it
a spin ?
Anyway, if 4.4.150 works and if 4.4.152 works too, maybe it was a
regression in 4.4.151. If 4.4.150 works but later ones do not
- there could be a configuration change in elrepo's config in which
case you could compare the config files and try to identify the
change, or
- there could be a regression in the kernel code, in which case you
should file a bug at kernel.org

You could also try to compare the configurations of 4.4 and 4.18

Yes kernel-lt-4.4.151 is the first one that failed.
But even if i compile it manually it does the same.
What i observed is that on ML when booting there is a message saying
Selinux disabled which is missing on the LT.
I've tried looking in the config but could not find anything related.

Is kernel-lt-4.4.151 the first one that failed? Does the previous
version boot fine?

Hello
If I were in your shoes, I'd vetify if kernet-lt boots if you disable selinx. If it does, you might be missing one of the packages related to the selinux policies.
