<div dir="ltr"><div>Hello Gurus,</div><div> Stuck with a strange issue. Please help. With my RHEL 8.2 the Broadcom adapter came up properly and connected to the Wireless hotspot. But I failed to connect to the Internet! In the settings of the connected Wireless SSID I see all IPV4 and IPV6 settings set to automatic
(as Automatic DHCP, DNS and Routes) as expected. But still the IPv4 address seems to be set to a private IP! </div><div><br></div><div><span style="background-color:rgb(255,255,0)">IPV4 Address 192.168.43.147</span></div><div><span style="background-color:rgb(255,255,0)">Default Route 192.168.43.1</span></div><div><span style="background-color:rgb(255,255,0)"> DNS 192.168.43.1</span></div><div><br></div><div><u>Environment</u>:</div><div><br></div><div># cat /etc/redhat-release<br></div><div>Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 8.2 (Ootpa)</div><div> <br clear="all"><div><div># lspci | grep -i wireless<br>12:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4313 802.11bgn Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01)<br></div><div><br></div><div>In #ifconfig -a the wlan interface shows up as <b>wlp18s0b1</b></div><div><br></div><div>Can someone please help me with this?
