I'd go with the -93 variant but I do not have strong opinions either way.
But to be honest if I was a new user in need of drivers, I'd look for 
something including "ATI" in the name, not for fglrx. Same as I would 
look for "nvidia" if I'd be using an Nvidia based video chipset. For 
instance "ati-x11-drv " as rpmforge has done in the past (together with 
nvidia-x11 drv, nvidia-x11-drv-96xx/ etc ).
