[elrepo-devel] Announcement: Updated kmod-e1000e release

Announcing the release of an updated kmod-e1000e package in the elrepo
repository:

This package provides an updated e1000e driver, version 1.1.19_NAPI-1,
and is kABI compatible with all kernels from 5.0 (kernel-2.6.18-8.el5)
upwards.

It is built to depend upon the specific ABI provided by a range of
releases of the same variant of the Linux kernel and not on any one
specific build.

NOTE: Due to the appearance of a bug in el5.5, *updating* of kmod
packages is broken with el5.5. To apply this update, users of el5.5
are advised to first uninstall the old package and then install the
new package:

yum erase kmod-e1000e
yum --disablerepo=\* --enablerepo=elrepo install kmod-e1000e

If you have already updated and the package is no longer working,
please uninstall and then reinstall the package.
