This release provides an OCFS2 kernel module that is kABI compatible with
all el5.2 series kernel (kernel-2.6.18-92.el5) upwards.
It is built to depend upon the specific ABI provided by a range of
releases of the same variant of the Linux kernel and not on any one
specific build.
We are looking for OCFS2 users to provide feedback and support through our
support channels in order to promote these packages to ELRepo's stable
repository.
NOTE: Due to the appearance of a bug in el5.5, *updating* of kmod
packages is broken with el5.5. When updating, *reinstalling* the package
after the initial update will fix the issue, so users are advised to:
yum update kmod-ocfs2
yum reinstall kmod-ocfs2
Thank you,
The ELRepo Team.
