Announcing the release of kmod-ndiswrapper and ndiswrapper-utils packages 
in the ELRepo testing repository:

This release provides an ndiswrapper kernel module that is kABI compatible 
with all el5.0 series kernel (kernel-2.6.18-8.el5) upwards.

It is built to depend upon the specific ABI provided by a range of
releases of the same variant of the Linux kernel and not on any one
specific build.

We are looking for feedback from ndiswrapper users to verify that these 
packages work on their existing environment in order to promote them to 
ELRepo's stable repository.

NOTE: Due to the appearance of a bug in el5.5, *updating* of kmod
packages is broken with el5.5. When updating, *reinstalling* the package
after the initial update will fix the issue, so users are advised to:

 	 yum update kmod-ndiswrapper
 	 yum reinstall kmod-ndiswrapper
