[elrepo] Announcement: EL6 kmod-e1000 Testing Release [Version 8.0.23_NAPI]

Announcing the release of the kmod-e1000 package in the EL6
elrepo-testing repository:

http://elrepo.org/tiki/kmod-e1000

This package provides the e1000 kernel module for Intel® PRO/1000 PCI
and PCI-X Ethernet NICs, version 8.0.23_NAPI and is kABI compatible
with all kernels from 6.0 (kernel-2.6.32-71.el6) upwards.

It is built to depend upon the specific ABI provided by a range of
releases of the same variant of the Linux kernel and not on any one
specific build.

End user testing of this package (& subsequent feed-back) will be
appreciated and would also speed its eventual promotion to the main
repository.
