[elrepo] Announcement: EL6 kmod-igb Testing Release [Version 2.4.8]

Announcing the release of the kmod-igb package in the EL6
elrepo-testing repository:

http://elrepo.org/tiki/kmod-igb

This package provides the igb kernel module for Intel® 82575/6 & 82580
Gigabit NICs, version 2.4.8 and is kABI compatible with all kernels
from 6.0 (kernel-2.6.32-71.el6) upwards.

It is built to depend upon the specific ABI provided by a range of
releases of the same variant of the Linux kernel and not on any one
specific build.

End user testing of this package (& subsequent feed-back) will be
appreciated and would also speed its eventual promotion to the main
repository.
