[elrepo] New module-init-tools offered in centos updates

  I notice that a new version of module-init -tools is being offered in 
my centos updates today - and it doesn't appear to be coming from 
elrepo. It does appear to be a later version -  and possibly based on 
the elrepo version.
Given that we were advised to use the elrepo version to work around a 
kmod installation bug in centos 5.5 - should we allow this new version 
to be installed?

I'm guessing that the elrepo version of this module is now being offered 
by the centos repositories - but thought we should get some confirmation.
